I will not flame - I find Cornell too, I don't know, perfect and... dare I say, controlled? It doesn't strike that raw, primal emotion in me that the '87 MSG did - perhaps because I was in the Garden that night? I don't know.

Agreed. The Cornell show is not overrated, but the Dew is. It's way up there as far as post-hiatus Dews go, but to label it the best of all time is just crazy talk.

funny you say that. I said the exact opposite to clementine last time I saw him. I think the dew is the best part of that show. But im a dew nut so im bias.

glad to know i'm not the only one... I mean, don't get me wrong, its great, but whenever i listen to it i get the feeling like i'm missing something with all the 'greatest ever' talk surrounding it. i just think there are way better Dews out there. just goes to show the subjectivity of all this!
